Cousin Time

We had a great Easter weekend. Bergen loved cousin time and Ava is still talking about all of the fishes at the aquarium. We meet up with Kari and her boys, Gramma and Grandpa Madsen, Jens and Ian at the Seattle aquarium. They've redone the entrance and it was beautiful.

Bergen, Jack and Cole by the totem pole

Bergen, Ava, Jack and Aaron by the bronzed statue at Ivar's. Jack and Bergen were so silly and loved being five.

This is a classic picture. Ava was talking about feeding the "eagles" french fries, weeks before we went. She was indeed very brave and feed them lots of fries.

Aaron, Ava, Grandpa, Grandma, Jens, Jack, Bergen and Cole. What a delicious and nutritious lunch at Ivar's. Thanks Gramma and Grandpa!

Aaron, Ava, Jenn, Kari, Brody, Jens, Ian, Bergen , Jack and Cole. Almost the whole gang. Brody ran and screeched, but at all the appropriate times :)

Ava, Jens and Cole looking at all the fish swimming around. There were bull sharks and so many cool looking fish. There was a scuba diver inside the tank feeding the fish and Ava said, "Look mom there is a mermaid!"

The kids in front of a huge fish tank. Seconds after I took this picture Ava leaned back and flipped over the pole whacking her head. Can't you see it coming. She was fine, but we heard the weeping and waling for five minutes.

Bergen had a terrible headache right after we arrived. This is post two Tylenol and she is feeling much better and acting like and otter!

The arms of an octopus feel very rubbery! What a cool animal the octopus is.

This was a very rare fish the Ava jelly fish. It has two human arms and two pigtails that come more undone every picture!

What a funny video. Listen for Jack being a bird and no we are not in New York City. I'll put Easter pictures on the next post. There are plenty of pictures on this one.

Update: Bergen lost another tooth last night, that's 4 teeth on the bottom gone!

Oh how we love New York City!! That was a very fun day and equally fun weekend. Great to see you and we'll do it again soon! Bergen's ability to lose teeth is amazing, she could host her own "how to" show. :)
