Sister & SIL's fun with a side of Wombat stew

We have had an action packed birthday month. With only 8, now 9 with a new nephew born last week, birthdays to celebrate in the first three weeks of March. Who better to celebrate with then the birthday girls themselves. My sister Jamie came and stayed for 10 days - it was so fun to have her. And SIL Kirsten surprised some of us with a quick visit from Utah. All of the girls had a birthday to celebrate!

Brody and Ava were ready for cake!

Delicious chocolate star cake from Gramma Jan

Silly cousins =0)

A trip to Seattle wouldn't be complete without a ferry ride and trip to Ivar's.
It was a cold rainy day and the parking was horrible, but we had a great time. The girls loved the "sun deck" - the sun + the rain, the cold didn't stop them.

Enjoying the ocean from inside the warm ferry.
Bergen has had some fun things at school lately. Her teacher has been great.

The school has so many kids that they have buses to take you to events for the whole school. Ava was thrilled to ride a bus. As was Jamie, she was able to do lots of things she hasn't done in a long time!!
The "happy family" (not one of our better pics)
Bergen had the lead in her class play today. She was the Dingo in Wombat Stew. I was so proud of her, she remembered all of her lines and was very dramatic. Coming from someone that was to nervous to say a prayer at church, this is big. She was awesome!!

Grandpa Paul was able to come and watch the dingo. We stayed and had lunch and went to recess with her. It was a fun day and Ava really wants to go to school now!! Come on Kindergarten.

The play was so fun to see. I liked your family picture, but you can't see your up and coming 5th member.
